In this modern age there are still many childhood diseases that have no absolute cure even though they are considered not lethal.
Take for example a lice infestation. Children commonly get lice, especially when they are in school. Just one child getting lice and it is possible that the rest of the class will get a lice problem. And this is not just limited to developing countries. Even children in first world countries get lice problems too. It’s also not confined to a particular economic level. The worst thing about this is that there are studies that show that head lice are becoming more resistant to anti-lice medication.
